Promising individual from good Shadwell family. Confirmed debut promise when winning Kempton maiden with a bit to spare in October. Extra 1f will suit so must be respected under a penalty for new yard.

All the better for debut when runner-up to the now-useful Notre Belle Beteat Lingfield in February, clear of rest. No surprise if she were to feature.

Bred to be very good and confirmed debut promise when easy winner of Chester maiden, storming clear. Looks a smart prospect so taken to defy a penalty.

Eye-catching debut when third of 12 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) in October, nearest finish. Disappointed at Kempton following month but worth another chance.

Verdict

SECRET STATE confirmed the promise of his debut second in the Wood Ditton when storming clear in what looked a decent maiden at Chester so looks capable of defying a penalty with further improvement highly likely. First Officer showed plenty first-time up at Newmarket in the autumn so is worth another chance back on turf, while Laasudood is also respected under a penalty having won with a bit in hand at Kempton in October.
