Got better with each start at 2 yrs, running down Armor in the Flying Childers at Doncaster before beaten just over a length (neck behind Go Bears Go) when fifth in Middle Park at Newmarket. Good second in Group 3 at Chantilly on return and needs considering.
Useful form when winning 9-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f, soft, 7/1) on return and backed that up when second of 4 in class 2 at Hamilton. Firmly up against it at this level, however.
Progressive colt who took his form to another level when completing 5-timer in 3 Year Old All-Weather Championships at Newcastle (6f) 5 weeks ago, pulling clear with subsequent listed winner Tiber Flow. Leading player on that form back on turf.
Had a highly productive 2-y-o campaign for Tom Dascombe, the highlight of which was his victory in a valuable sales race at the York Ebor meeting. Looked better than ever when making a winning return in Chester handicap, albeit seen to maximum effect. Will find things a fair bit tougher this time.
Smart sprinter who wasn't seen to best effect in Greenham Stakes at Newbury (7f) on return but quickly back on track when winning against his elders in class 3 at Chester (5f) 2 weeks ago. This track should suit and high on shortlist.
Pontefract winner last year and best run when second to Lusail in the Gimcrack at York. Low-key return at Hamilton, however, and others preferred.
Smart colt who progressed again when a commanding winner of Group 2 Railway Stakes last summer. Held form well subsequently, runner-up in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint final 2-y-o start. Made winning return in 4-runner Group 3 at Ascot last month and sure to make another bold bid.
Likeable colt who doubled his tally with a gutsy success in the Mill Reef at Newbury in September. Shaped as if needing the run under a penalty when 4 lengths last of 4 to Go Bears Go in Pavilion Stakes at Ascot on return. Better expected now in first-time headgear but Kirby prefers Caturra.
Useful filly who completed AW hat-trick in listed event at Chelmsford on return last month but all to do at this level back on turf.
Seemed to relish the drop back to 5f when off the mark in listed race at Ayr in September and backed that up when 1¾ lengths seventh of 12 to Twilight Gleaming in Grade 2 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at Del Mar (5f, firm) final start. Opposable in this company at 6f on return, however.

Forecasts
Go Bears Go (9/4), El Caballo (7/2), Ever Given (5/1), Flaming Rib (11/2), Caturra (15/2), Wings Of War (12/1), Beauty Inspire (16/1), Tippy Toes (50/1), Gis A Sub (50/1), Vertiginous (50/1), Edward Cornelius (100/1)
The obvious ones here are FLAMING RIB, Go Bears Go and El Caballo, who all posted impressive timefigures when winning on their most recent outing. The first named beat his elders at Chester 2 weeks ago and could be the value call. Caturra can also make his presence felt, while unbeaten Irish-raider Beauty Inspire is a fascinating contender.
