Has been transformed from frustrating handicapper to Group-1 placed (2nd in King's Stand) in 2021 for new connections. Shaped as if needing the run in Palace House Stakes at Newmarket and this could give a better indication of how his season will go. Cheekpieces back on.
Won 2 of his 4 starts last season, including Sandown Group 3. Offered little in Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on return however, and needs to leave that well behind.
Landed back-to-back handicaps on the AW at the beginning of the year and was back on the up when just denied in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket (5f, good) 3 weeks ago, nearest finish. Had fitness on his side that day but should give another good account.
Smart and likeable sprinter who landed a brace of listed contests last season, the first over C&D. Returned with a good second in small-field conditions event at Chester 15 days ago and is likely to be sharper for the run. Considered.
Successful 5 times in 2021 but looked outclassed as much as anything in Palace House Stakes at Newmarket (5f, good) 3 weeks ago.
Smart gelding who ended last season with an excellent second in Newbury Group 3 and goes well fresh, so each-way claims on return.
Low-mileage sprinter who returned from 8 months off/gelded with a career-best when quickening up smartly to win 5f Newmarket handicap in April. Ran to a similar level in Group 3 there 3 weeks ago but needs a bit more at this level.
Bounced back to best on first run since leaving Joseph G. Murphy when winning 15-runner listed race at Bath (5f, good to soft, 12/1) 37 days ago. This is a whole lot tougher, though.
Very smart filly who took her form up a couple of notches when landing the Nunthorpe at York in August. Disappointing after but she'll take plenty of beating if back to her best on return.
Well-made colt who was all the better for his reappearance when taking 5f York listed event in good style last week. That was only his first try at the minimum trip, so he's an interesting contender back up in grade.

Winter Power (7/2), Last Crusader (9/2), King's Lynn (5/1), Twilight Calls (5/1), White Lavender (9/1), Moss Gill (9/1), Came From The Dark (12/1), Existent (14/1), Mondammej (25/1), Arecibo (28/1), Ainsdale (33/1), Attagirl (50/1)
WINTER POWER proved a disappointment on her final 2 outings last season, but she sets a clear second on the form of her Nunthorpe success and will take plenty of beating if returning to that kind of level. King's Lynn is a smart and likeable sprinter who should be all the better for his return, while Last Crusader is an interesting contender back up in grade having shown marked improvement dropped to this trip for the first time at York recently.
