Landed novice at Newmarket (July course) last summer. Yet to build on that but there was encouragement to be gleaned from his fourth in a handicap there on reappearance. Longer trip should help.
Well-bred colt who overcame greenness to land a maiden at Doncaster in September. Has improved on both subsequent starts and didn't have a hard time when third in a Newmarket novice on return. Potential for more still.
Won a pair of novices at 2 and also second in a 1m nursery at Doncaster St Leger meeting. Disappointing since, though, including in Sandown handicap on reappearance. Others preferred.
Overcame greenness to win 7-runner novice at Goodwood in August and right back on track when third at Chepstow on reappearance. Others look better treated, though.
Boasts a progressive profile and had something to spare when doubling his tally in a Kempton novice a couple of months ago. That form has received a number of boosts since, so every chance he can get involved.
Off the mark at Southwell in December and shaped well when third at Goodwood 15 days ago. Bred to get this far, and further progress is on the cards.
Going the right way and overcame a pace bias to open his account at Nottingham 18 days ago. Handicapper has taken no chances with opening mark, but there's a good deal more to come.
Well-related colt who made it 2 from 3 when successful on his reappearance in a Sandown handicap. No fluke about that and the third has gone in since, so he's a definite player.
Off the mark second time out at Kempton (1m) in November. That form has substance, so not ruled out for all he failed to fire at Newcastle on return.
Bred to stay well, so no great surprise he relished the step up in trip when an excellent second at Nottingham on reappearance. This track should play to his strengths, so merits strong consideration.
Lightly-raced maiden but already beginning to look exposed, fourth despite the run of the race at Goodwood last time. Needs the longer trip to bring more out of him.
Left 2yo exploits behind when scoring in a handicap at Doncaster on return, all out having still seemed green under pressure. There's scope for further progress.

Israr (3/1), Mr Big Stuff (9/2), Red Vineyard (9/2), Surrey Mist (7/1), Wineglass Bay (7/1), Inverness (10/1), Wootton'sun (12/1), Marsoul (18/1), Luminous Light (20/1), La Pulga (22/1), Zoom (25/1), Razzle Dazzle (25/1), Bizarre Law (33/1)
A fiercely competitive 3-y-o handicap that might go the way of SURRY MIST. He's been most impressive the last twice and his latest success at Kempton is proving strong form, so he gets the nod in the hope that he's as effective back on turf. Israr and Mr Big Stuff are two of several who have the scope to improve.
