11,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to 8.3f winner Mashaheer and 1¼m winner Danville. Dam, maiden (stayed 1½m), half-sister to winner up to 9f Uncharted Haven. Entitled to come on for the run.
Showed ability on sole 2-y-o start, and again when sixth of 12 over 11f here on return last month. Still, a sizeable step forward will be needed if he's to make an impact in this contest.
Showed the benefit of his debut spin at Kempton (7f) in November when first past the post at at Wolverhampton (8.6f) the following month. Big player here with improvement anticipated.
Has failed to trouble the judge on either of his two starts to date, and will be of greater interest when switched to handicaps.
Just touched off on debut over 7f here in October. Not disgraced back here (1m, good) on his seasonal reappearance and possibilities if he copes with this step up in trip.
Performed well above market expectations (sent off at 66/1) when third on debut in a 14-runner maiden here (7f, good) last summer. Promises to be suited by this stiffer test and he needs considering.
Equipped with a visor/tongue strap and showed signs of ability in a Nottingham maiden (10.2f, good to firm) on debut last month. Headgear now dispensed with and needs to raise his game.
Half-brother to numerous winners and there were positives to glean from his recent debut at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) where he wasn't knocked about. Still, others have more pressing claims.
Strong at the finish on debut when chasing home impressive winner Morghom (runs in the 2.40 on this card) over a mile here. Likely that he'll be well-served by this step up in trip and he's a must for the shortlist.

Forecasts
Falling Shadow (11/8), Zabeir (5/2), Sea Dart (13/2), My Mate Ted (8/1), Sea Stone (10/1), Double Cherry (18/1), Tuxedo Junction (28/1), Conquering (66/1), Locksmith (200/1)
ZABEIR put in good late work when finding only a potentially useful colt too strong on his introduction here last month, and he could be the answer with this step up in trip expected to help unlock improvement. Falling Shadow finished first past the post at Wolverhamton in December and he'll be a big threat if taking to turf. Sea Dart and My Mate Ted are others with a chance.
