Verdict

Several of these are open to improvement, not least STATE EVENT, who shaped well when fifth in the Wood Ditton on debut at Newmarket last month. That form was boosted when his stablemate Secret State, who was runner-up in that maiden, won well at Chester last week. Adjourn showed plenty of ability in two starts as a juvenile and he is next on the list ahead of promising duo Liseo and Liquid Metric. Newcomer Royal Scandal needs a close look in the betting.
