Third win since December when getting on top late on in C&D handicap 11 days ago. 20/1, creditable third of 14 in handicap at Hamilton (5f, good) 1 day ago. Shortlist material.
Five-time C&D winner. 15/2, not seen to best effect when 3¾ lengths fourth of 6 to The Thin Blue Line over C&D (good) 11 days ago, nearest finish.
Eleventh of 13 in handicap (20/1) at Southwell (6f) 22 days ago. Blinkers back on. Something to find on form.
Done quite well since fitted with blinkers, including a C&D win last autumn. Got his head back in front at Ayr (5f, good; made all) 13 days ago and another prominent showing is on the cards.
C&D winner last month but not in quite the same form when 2½ lengths fourth of 6 to the reopposing Albegone at Ayr (5f, good) since.
C&D winner. 2/1, 3½ lengths fifth of 6 to Albegone in handicap at Ayr (5f, good) 13 days ago, slowly away. Cheekpieces back on. Capable off this mark but his slow starts have become a habit.

Forecasts
The Thin Blue Line (5/6), Albegone (7/2), Rose Bandit (15/2), Rory (10/1), Primo's Comet (12/1), John Kirkup (14/1)
ALBEGONE had a couple of today's rivals in behind when making all at Ayr last time and might be able to defy the handicapper, particularly as there isn't much obvious competition for the lead. C&D specialist Primo's Comet may follow him home, although The Thin Blue Line would also merit respect if turning up after his creditable third at Hamilton on Sunday.
