Fair hurdler who got off the mark on handicap debut in that sphere at this venue (25f) on Boxing Day. Possibly overdid forcing tactics at Market Rasen (23f) and interesting what the market makes of him now chasing.
7-y-o who ran up to his best over hurdles when second of 8 at Southwell (24.2f) early last month, keeping on without threatening the winner. Rates an interesting chasing debutant given his background (won sole start in points).
Confirmed more positive signs over shorter here in March when running out a good winner of a C&D handicap 18 days ago. Handicapper has reacted but still low-mileage as a chaser and fancied to feature again.
Point winner who made hard work of belatedly shedding maiden tag over hurdles at Chepstow (19.5f) in November. More miss than hit subsequently, pulled up last 2 starts earlier this year. Does return with yard amongst the winners, however. Chase debut.
Handicap hurdle winner at Stratford in October but form has seemingly tailed off and he never figured on chase debut at Exeter (24.2f) last month. Cheekpieces go on now.
No better than midfield in bumpers/over hurdles and he's yet to fare any better for switch to larger obstacles, merely passing beaten rivals when midfield at Wincanton (20f) in March. Mark has eased a little more at least.
Yet to score over fences and he was operating below best earlier this year, beating only one home in 8-runner course handicap (19.8f) in March. Short break needs to have perked him up.

Forecasts
Thundersockssundae (15/8), Tea For Free (11/4), Le Grand Lion (7/2), Kenyan Cowboy (10/1), Clear On Top (12/1), Pakie's Dream (12/1), Canastero (28/1)
THUNDERSOCKSSUNDAE confirmed more positive signs over shorter here when running out a good winner of a C&D handicap 18 days ago and he could well be up to following up in a race where a number arrive with something to prove. That fact doesn't apply to chase-debutant Tea For Free though, and he is feared, ahead of Pakie's Dream.
