1/2
Four-time hurdles winner who jumped well when making a successful chase debut at Carlisle in March. Final-fence faller in a match at Ayr since, but good chance he'll resume winnings ways if avoiding mishaps here with trip/ground no problem.

9/4
Dual hurdles winner in Ireland and, though yet to strike over fences, he has finished in the money on seven of his 11 starts in this sphere. Held when unseating at Haydock (first run following a wind op) last time but should make a race of it with Geromino if on-song/granted a clear round.

Forecasts

Geromino (1/2), Nero Rock (9/4), Zoffalee (14/1), Shaws Bridge (20/1)

Verdict

This is best left to GEROMINO, who looked set to make it 2-2 over fences at Ayr before his jumping went to pot at the last two fences. It's easy to forgive him for what was probably a mere blip that day, bearing in mind how sure-footed he was at Carlisle on his chase debut. With Zoffalee unconvincing and Shaws Bridge a long way out of the weights, Nero Rock is the only conceivable danger.
