Thirsk novice winner (7f) on debut last summer who struggled upped to listed level next time. Shaped as if needing March's AW return and plenty of time for him to get back on the up.
C&D winner who arrives having showed improved form and looked unlucky not to win having conceded first run when third back here 3 weeks ago. That form has a solid look and she's got to be high on the shortlist.
Steadily progressive in AW handicaps since the turn of the year, doubling career tally at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in February. Career-high mark may have found him out back at that venue in March but likely to give another good account nevertheless.
Twilight Son filly who showed improved form to get off the mark at the third attempt in a Chelmsford novice (7f) in November, proving strong at the finish. Very much the type to go on improving now handicapping.
Course novice winner (5f) on debut last summer who proved more miss than hit in handful of starts thereafter, albeit out of depth at listed level at Newmarket final start. This more suitable on return and worth a check in betting for clues.
Breeze-up acquisition who was well on top at the finish when making a successful start at Redcar (6f) in August. Not in same form at York final start but step up to 7f a likely plus on return and he's very low-mileage.

TRUELY ACLAIMED very much caught the eye and looked unlucky not to win given how the race developed when third over C&D 3 weeks ago, conceding first run but finishing strongly. She can confirm the promise of that run and double her career tally over C&D. Conservative and Scotch Mistress may emerge as the chief threats, ahead of Subjective Value.
