Betsi Handicap

Well-bred colt who doubled career tally at Nottingham (8.3f) in July. Never scaled sae heights either start thereafter but no surprise to see him back on track this year and he's unexposed on AW.

Successful twice as a juvenile back in 2019. Lightly raced subsequently but confirmed himself back in good heart when winning 10-runner Redcar handicap (10f, soft) in November. Respected back from a break.

7f AW novice winner who ran up to best in handicaps last term when third at Chester (10.3f) in September, running on having conceded first run. Remains relatively low-mileage for a 5-y-o, not least on AW, so worth a second look.

Regained the winning thread from his sliding mark over C&D in October. Never threatened back here when last seen in November but worth noting he has gone well after a break in the past.

Progressive on AW/turf during first half of last year, supplementing victories at Wolverhampton/Newcastle when completing hat-trick at Nottingham (10.2f) in May. Third at Newcastle (10f) when last seen in June but he did carry his head a little high on that occasion.
