Dual Grade 2 winning hurdler in his pomp. Third in the Lanzarote at Kempton in January off 4 lb higher shows he's still very capable on his day but he needs to be forgiven 2 lesser runs since.

A 3 lb rise for FIFTY BALL's latest Ascot win still leaves him on a lower mark than when second in last year's Betfair Hurdle at Newbury and he looks sure to make a bold bid in this season's finale. Samarrive's last 2 runs have been underwhelming but they were in top-end handicaps and he could easily get back on tracked returned to calmer waters and upped to a trip which promises to suit. Nicky Henderson's good record in this also earns Glynn a place on the shortlist.
