10/3

€22,000 3-y-o, £32,000 5-y-o, Flemensfirth mare. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/high-class chaser (stayed 3m) Last Instalment. Runner-up completed start in Irish points (Dec 30). One to note.

Form: P2

Famous Function⁷⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr

4/1

Fame And Glory mare. Half-sister to fair hurdler Shirocco's Dream and bumper winner Arion Sky. Made frame both starts in Irish points, runner-up latest (Jan 29). Big player on Rules bow.

Form: 42

Sharp Note¹⁰⁹

7/1

Mahler mare. Half-sister to 4 winners, including fair hurdler/useful chaser Final Assault. Made frame both starts in Irish points (latest Dec 30). Warrants consideration.

Form: 34

Value Till Dawn⁴³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: C Hobson

28/1

Dylan Thomas mare. Dam, well beaten sole start over hurdles, closely related to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (19f-2½m winner) Street Value. Made frame both completed starts in points (Jan 16 latest).

Form: F44R16

Kimberley Eve^t²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: C J Todd| T: Ian Williams

10/3

Placed on two of her three bumper outings but it's only modest form and she looks vulnerable to some interesting Rules debutants.

Form: 203

Pure Theatre²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: T Scudamore| T: D E Cantillon

3/1

Closely related to 4 winners and was doing her best work at the finish when fourth at Southwell on debut. Entitled to build on that, so can't be dismissed.

Form: 4

Treefinch⁷⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: C Gethings| T: S Edmunds

22/1

Half-sister to bumper winner Hillfinch and 4/1 for her debut at Hereford 77 days ago. Didn't show a great deal, but could show more with her stable in good order.

Form: 6

Forecasts

Pure Theatre (3/1), Coin Basket (10/3), Kimberley Eve (10/3), Famous Function (4/1), Sharp Note (7/1), Treefinch (22/1), Value Till Dawn (28/1), Catwalk Swagger (33/1)

FAMOUS FUNCTION makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and has already set a solid platform in points, so she's a straightforward selection to make a winning start under Rules. Fellow ex-pointer Coin Basket should pose a threat, while Pure Theatre seems the pick of those with bumper form.
