Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes (Group 3) (Str)

Likeable type who still looked green when winning the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood and took form to another level when bagging a couple of Group 1s in France in the autumn. Obvious claims.

Smart front runner who didn't need to be at best when completing 4-timer in listed race at Doncaster in October for Tom Dascombe. Shapes as though he'll stay this far and hood applied.

Won first 2 starts, including 22-runner Super Sprint here (6f) in July, finishing strongly. Good efforts in Richmond Stakes at Goodwood and Prix Morny at Deauville but disappointed in Mill Reef final start. Doesn't have the scope as some of these.

Dual Group 2 winner over 6f at 2 yrs, namely July Stakes at Newmarket and Gimcrack at York. Excuses in Group 2 at Doncaster final start and has won over 7f. Probably doesn't want rain.

Denied a run on more than one occasion in the Richmond and showed what he could do when taking the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville. Backed that up when following up in Middle Park at Newmarket final start. May well prove to be a sprinter, though he's bred to stay.

Useful colt. Winner here (6f) in July. Has acquitted himself well in Group company since and excuses in Saudi Arabia on return. Fair bit to find with the principals, however.
