Better than ever when scoring in handicap at Ayr (24.1f) in May but below form next 3 outings. Step back in right direction when fifth over C&D 20 days ago, faring best of those ridden close up.

Returned to form following a break when runner-up in mares' handicap at Newcastle (20.1f) in March and ran to a similar level when third at Hexham later same month. May find one or two too strong.

Forecasts

Pitempton Power (2/1), Exit To Where (10/3), Cooper's Cross (5/1), En Meme Temps (11/2), Cracking Find (13/2), Tico Times (7/1), Dolly Dancer (9/1), Maypole Class (16/1), Lovely Moon (16/1)

Verdict

COOPER'S CROSS is best excused his last run and can resume progress following a break. The 7-y-o had previously looked promising over fences, winning on his second start at Sedgefield before running at least as well when runner-up at Newcastle. He remains with potential and can get the better of Pitempton Power who has finished second here on his last 2 starts. Cracking Find is also a course winner and has dropped to a career-low mark.
