Fiftyshadesaresdev¹⁷⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: Billy Garritty| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 70

9/2

Lightly-raced maiden. Proved to be a disappointment when tenth of 16 in nursery at this C&D (heavy, 8/1) when last seen, possibly unsuited by testing conditions. Off 6 months and having shown promise previously, he could be worth another chance.

Form: 94240-

(7)

Rolypolymoly¹⁵⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Sean Kirrane⁽⁵⁾| T: A West| OR: 67

14/1

Thrice-raced maiden. Fifth of 11 in minor event at Kempton (8f, 15/2) when last seen. Off 5 months and he may have more to offer now handicapping. Not dismissed.

Form: 665-

(1)

Ba Na Hills¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Jason Hart| T: J & S Quinn| OR: 67

7/2

Promising type. 13/2, career best when winning 11-runner event on handicap debut at Newcastle (7.1f) 17 days ago. Open to further improvement upped in trip, he's high on the shortlist making his turf debut.

Form: 6461

(9)

Shahnaz¹³⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: Ben Robinson| T: G Tutty| OR: 66

100/1

Ran poorly on first outing since leaving Amy Murphy when tenth of 13 in nursery at Chelmsford City (7f, 50/1) when last seen. Off 136 days. Plenty more required to feature.

Form: 6050-

(8)

Ravenglass¹⁹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: P Hanagan| T: R A Fahey| OR: 65

12/1

Thrice-raced maiden. 16/1, last of 9 in minor event at Redcar (7f, good to firm). Off 6 months/gelded. Should have more to offer now sent handicapping but others make more appeal on this occasion.

Form: 499-

(6)

Autumn Festival⁷^{(ex 6)}

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: D Tudhope| T: D O'Meara| OR: 57| D

5/6

Promising individual. 13/2 and gelded, career best when winning 15-runner event on handicap debut at Redcar (8f, soft) 7 days ago. Running under a penalty here, he should be bang there once again provided this doesn't come too soon.

Form: 6-791

(5)

Coligone Kate¹⁷⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-12| J: J P Sullivan| T: Ollie Pears| OR: 61

22/1

Lightly-raced maiden. Sixth of 13 in nursery (11/1) at Newcastle (7.1f), nearest finish (unsuited by drop in trip) when last seen. Off 6 months and could have an each-way say if fully tuned up for this reappearance.

Form: 63466-

(10)

Do I Dream³⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-3| J: A Mullen| T: B Haslam| OR: 52

100/1

Lightly-raced maiden. 20/1, never involved making handicap debut after 8 weeks off at Newcastle (7.1f) 38 days ago. Easy to look elsewhere on that evidence.

Form: 96-08

Forecasts

Autumn Festival (5/6), Ba Na Hills (7/2), Fiftyshadesaresdev (9/2), Wendell's Lad (6/1), Ravenglass (12/1), Rolypolymoly (14/1), Qweldryk (14/1), Roamin In Gloamin (20/1), Coligone Kate (22/1), Do I Dream (100/1), Shahnaz (100/1)

BA NA HILLS appeals as the type who could stay ahead of the handicapper for a little longer upped in trip so John Quinn's charge is taken to escalate his form up a notch and make a winning start on the turf. Last week's Redcar-scorer Autumn Festival rates an obvious danger and he's capable of better having started from such a lowly handicap mark.
