Placed both starts to date, though better effort when second at Carlisle a couple of months ago. Should be thereabouts again.

Was a warm order for his debut at Newcastle but didn't come up to expectations. Could prove a different proposition second time out.
Bred to stay well but offered something to work on when sixth at Ffos Las on debut a couple of months ago. Should build on that, so no forlorn hope.
Kapgarde gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful French chaser Turfina d'Oudairie and fairly useful French hurdler Diable d'Oudairies. Interesting newcomer on paper.
Pulled up in a Tipperary bumper a year ago but proved a different proposition when runner-up over C&D a fortnight ago. Solid claims if he can back that up.
Some encouragement when fifth in a C&D bumper a fortnight ago and could step forward from that, so can't be completely discounted.
Runner-up sole start in Irish points (Dec 30) and showed plenty to work on when third at Doncaster on Rules debut. Likely to go well again under a positive ride.
Related to bumper winners and left debut form behind when second at Uttoxeter last month. Likely to take another step forward, so worth a chance to open her account.
Telescope gelding. Half-brother to modest 23f hurdle winner Bact To Black.
£8,000 3-y-o, Pether's Moon filly. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 25f) Without Limites out of 15f-17f French hurdle winner Sans Limites. Doesn't make much appeal.

Forecasts
Theatre Man (10/3), Grain D'oudairies (4/1), Dear Ralphy (4/1), Bingoo (9/2), Saint Bibiana (9/2), Konik King (12/1), Telegram Bob (25/1), Picks Lad (25/1), Bray Dale (28/1), Shantou's Temple (33/1), Reetazeetajones (66/1)
SAINT BIBIANA was much improved from her debut when second at Uttoxeter last time and, with further progress on the cards, she's marginally preferred to Theatre Man. Grain d'Oudairies is related to three winners and represents strong connections, so he's the clear pick of the newcomers.
