Creditable efforts last twice, latest when second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Ayr (21.4f, soft, 7/2) 30 days ago. 2 lb rise fair and is one for the shortlist.

Has struggled for form in varied events since 3¼m success at Musselburgh 14 months ago but he is on a good mark and it's interesting that Brian Hughes takes the ride again. Worth a precautionary market check.

Bumper winner in France who came good at the fourth time of asking over hurdles for this yard in 19f Fontwell novice (soft) in February. Proved disappointing on switch to handicapping at Sandown since, though.

Made winning debut in 2m Wetherby novice and has been generally progressive since, posting good third of 6 in handicap hurdle at Haydock (18.9f, good to firm) last time. Should relish this longer trip and holds strong claims.
