Fairly useful filly. 13/2, creditable 3 lengths fourth of 13 to Vertiginous in listed race at Ayr (5f, good to firm) when last seen in September. Stiff task on these terms.
Lightly-raced winner. 5/2 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, 18½ lengths last of 9 to Attagirl in listed race at York (5f, good) on final 2-y-o start. That run was too bad to be true and she won't be far away if able to bounce back here with headgear discarded.
Fairly useful gelding. Winner at York in October. Good second of 10 in nursery at Wolverhampton (5.1f, 8/1), well positioned. Off 134 days and he's another who faces an uphill task at the weights.
Useful colt. 5¾ lengths tenth of 12 to Twilight Jet in Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket (5f, good to soft, 9/1) on latest start in October. Twice placed in listed company prior to that and will be a danger to all if on-song.
Useful colt. Two wins from 6 runs last year. 11/1, very good length third of 7 to Flaming Rib in listed race at Doncaster (6f, heavy) in October. Cheekpieces enlisted for this seasonal reappearance and he needs taking seriously.
Useful gelding. One win from 3 runs last year. First run since leaving Florian Guyader when landing the odds in a 5-runner minor event at Wolverhampton (5.1f) in November (subsequently gelded). The one to beat.
Fairly useful filly. 11/4, 5½ lengths last of 4 to Fast Response in minor event at Musselburgh (5f, good to soft). Off 6 months. Likely to find a few too good.

Boonie (3/1), Mitbaahy (3/1), Papa Don't Preach (9/2), Mohi (6/1), Josies Kid (13/2), Fast Response (9/1), Sophie's Star (14/1)
PAPA DON'T PREACH was often highly tried as a 2-y-o, notably finishing hot on the heels of the placed horses when fourth in the Flying Childers at Doncaster in September. He duly landed the odds in an all-weather novice on debut for Charles Hills on his latest start in November and will prove hard to beat if ready to roll following a break. Mohi and Mitbaahy rate the main dangers in that order of preference.
