Balleticon^t²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: C Gethings| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 105| D

13/2

Well handicapped and took a step back in the right direction at Bangor 3 weeks ago, so merits strong consideration down in grade.

Form: 43-3634

South Mountain^h,t³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-11| J: Kielan Woods| T: B Pauling| OR: 104

4/1

Showed some promise in a brace of bumpers in late 2020 and going the right way over hurdles, shaping nicely when third in a novice at Taunton a month ago. More to come now handicapping, so could take the beating.

Form: 64-543

Peterborough⁵⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Isabel Williams⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 103| D

11/4

Back to form when scoring by a wide margin off 108 over fences at Kelso a couple of months ago. Obvious claims if he can replicate that back over the smaller obstacles.

Form: 243241

Shiroccy Road^t⁷⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Ben Jones| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 97| D

25/1

From a family connections know well and crucially jumped better than sole rival when off the mark in Fakenham mares' maiden (2m) in December. Disappointed in a tongue tie at Plumpton next time, but given a break since.

Form: 0-6P510

I Will Follow Her^h⁶⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-3| J: Alex Edwards⁽³⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR: 96

11/1

Best form came when runner-up on debut. Profile since is a bit iffy, but there have been excuses and he's back from a break, so not completely dismissed.

Form: P2-857F

Little Brown Mouse²²⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Benjamin Poste| T: A Wintle| OR: 91

33/1

Showed nothing in 4 goes over hurdles in Ireland, so hard to make any sort of case for debuting for a new stable after 7 months off.

Form: 0-608

Moved In March¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 10-6| J: James Best| T: M Young| OR: 85

50/1

No sign of ability in bumpers/over hurdles, pulled up in a handicap at Wincanton 13 days ago.

Form: 0777-P

Karannelle^h,t¹⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-3| J: S Bowen| T: D A Rees| OR: 82| D

15/2

Is a long time without a win and was in the process of running poorly when falling at Worcester 142 days ago. Makes little appeal.

Form: 24020F

Kolisi^t⁵⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-0| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe| OR: 81WS

11/4

Fairly useful Flat performer for William Haggas who has offered little to this point over hurdles. Back from a break/wind op and handicapping now, so dangerous to ignore.

Form: PP77

King Of The Story^t³⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Houlihan| T: Mrs K Stephens| OR: 69

100/1

Yet to show any ability and firmly up against it again from out of the weights.

Form: 40-009P

Non-Runners

Sehayli¹³³

Weight: 11-4| Age: 9

T: R G Hawker J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Kolisi (11/4), Peterborough (11/4), South Mountain (4/1), Balleticon (13/2), Karannelle (15/2), I Will Follow Her (11/1), Shiroccy Road (25/1), Little Brown Mouse (33/1), Sehayli (33/1), Moved In March (50/1), King Of The Story (100/1)

SOUTH MOUNTAIN arrives with an upwardly-mobile profile and should be able to find further improvement now switched to handicaps, so he gets the nod ahead of Peterborough, who bolted up off a higher mark over fences at Kelso when last seen. Balleticon is another to consider dropping in grade.
