Yet another multiple winner for the yard this season, showing useful form when seeing off the reopposing Soft Risk by 3¼ lengths on his 2m Newcastle handicap debut 34 days ago. 5 lb rise unlikely to prevent him making another bold bid.
Successful twice on the Flat last summer for David O'Meara. Ended 2021 in good form over hurdles for current trainer, winning 2m Doncaster handicap in November. Only nudged up 2 lb but this 10-y-o is possibly vulnerable to younger legs in this line-up.
Useful Flat performer who came good over hurdles in 2m Huntingdon maiden in November. Possibly unsuited by much softer ground when pulling up on Kempton handicap debut over Christmas. Retains potential back from a break.
Won a novice handicap at Newcastle and a novice at Musselburgh (both 2m) this winter. Blunted by testing ground over the stiff 2m at Sandown in the Imperial Cup last time and treated as if still in form.
Good runner-up efforts on first 2 starts for this yard. Shaped as if still in good form from out of the handicap in Morebattle at Kelso last month. Has a first-time tongue strap added to regular hood.
Lost unbeaten record when 3¼ lengths second of 5 to Since Day On on 2m Newcastle handicap 34 days ago but it was another solid effort and this strong traveller appeals as one who should have more to come.
Well held in 3 hurdles runs last winter but subsequently developed into a useful performer on the Flat for Keith Dalgelish, winning 4 times. Tongue tied first time. Very interesting on handicap hurdle debut for new trainer Gordon Elliott.

Forecasts
Platinumcard (2/1), Soft Risk (9/4), Since Day One (9/2), Kihavah (8/1), John Locke (9/1), Thereisnodoubt (14/1), Ingleby Hollow (40/1)
Although PLATINUMCARD is 5 lb out of the weights on his handicap hurdle debut, he's still thrown-in if able to translate anything like the form he showed on the Flat last year back to hurdles. Soft Risk can turn around Newcastle form with Since Day One and give Gordon Elliott's charge most to think about.
