THE MAD MONK showed improved form despite a slow start on handicap debut at this course a month ago and the form has a strong look to it, so a chance is taken on him to open his account on his second try in handicaps. Safety First, a good second to a progressive sort at Wolverhampton last time, is a big threat, and Royal Cygnet is unexposed for her new stable, so she's also on the radar.
