Rainbow Fire⁵⁵¹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: R Havlin| T: J & T Gosden

10/3

Won 11-runner maiden (11/2) at Newmarket (7f, good) in September 2020. Taken a long time to get him back but could be significant that top yard perseveres.

Rhythm N Rock¹⁶⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: David Egan| T: J Butler

3/1

Confirmed debut promise when winning 14-runner novice at Leicester (7f, heavy) in October. Open to further progress.

Form: 31-

(1)

Mystical Air⁴⁸³

Age: 4| Weight: 9-4| J: Marco Ghiani| T: R Varian| OR: 84| D

7/2

Not seen since winning a 1m Lingfield novice in December 2020 but she looked a useful prospect on that occasion. Very interesting to see how strong she is in the betting.

Form: 61/

(5)

Alkhattaaf²⁶⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: Georgia Dobie⁽³⁾| T: C J Down

200/1

Well held in 2 runs for Saeed Bin Suroor last summer.

Form: 77-

(4)

Monteria¹⁷⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: Rossa Ryan| T: W S Kittow

18/1

11/1, third of 10 in maiden at Killarney (1m, soft) for John McConnell last autumn. Gelded after. Probably best watched for new yard in what looks a hot novice.

Form: 3-

(3)

Saigon¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: N Callan| T: M Botti

5/2

Promising type. Third of 6 in novice at this course (11f) on debut 18 days ago. Open to improvement but the 3f drop in trip isn't an obvious move.

Form: 3

(10)

Dear Heart^h²⁶⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: Benoit D L Sayette⁽⁷⁾| T: J & T Gosden

12/1

Hooded, third of 7 in maiden (5/1) at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) on debut last summer. Likely to improve. One of 2 runners for her top stable and the betting should help to separate them.

Form: 3-

(11)

Doyouknowmyuncles^h1⁵³

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: S W Kelly| T: J C Fox| OR: 41

250/1

Poor maiden who will surely be well out of her depth in this company.

Form: 6006-00

(2)

Morning Symphony¹⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: B A Curtis| T: G Boughey

40/1

Only seventh in a bumper last month but offered something to work on switched to the Flat at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 16 days ago. Should do better.

Form: 4

(7)

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: Jim Crowley| T: Mrs A J Perrett

100/1

Twice-raced maiden. 10/1, first run since leaving Marcus Tregoning when seventh of 10 in novice at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 51 days ago.

Forecasts

Saigon (5/2), Rhythm N Rock (3/1), Rainbow Fire (10/3), Mystical Air (7/2), Dear Heart (12/1), Monteria (18/1), Jacalan (20/1), Morning Symphony (40/1), Taqseemaat (100/1), Alkhattaaf (200/1), Doyouknowmyuncles (250/1)

An interesting novice. RAINBOW FIRE and Mystical Air haven't been seen since promising wins in 2020 but their top stables have stuck with them and they are possibly the pair to focus on, with a narrow vote going to the former. The selection's stablemate Dear Heart showed promise on her debut last summer and should also have a part to play along with Leicester winner Rhythm N Rock.
