9/1

Soldier of Fortune mare. Dam bumper winner on debut, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Black Key. Appealing on paper and worth a look.

Form:

Melchoir³⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Bruce Lynn⁽⁵⁾| T: N W Alexander

15/2

Easy to back and little show on debut at Ayr last month.

Form: 8

Pasture Beach^t¹⁰³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Conner McCann⁽¹⁰⁾| T: Miss Lucinda V RussellWS

Appealing pedigree but went with little encouragement in a tongue strap on debut at Carlisle in December. Has had another wind op.

Form: 9

She's A Steal³⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Reed| T: T Reed

4/1

Showed a bit at Carlisle on debut but well beaten in modest contest at Ayr last month. Work to do against the newcomers.

10/1

Farhh filly. Dam 2m hurdle winner (stayed 19f), also 11.3f winner who stayed 1¾m on Flat. Appealing on paper and starts out in a winnable contest.

Showed more temperament than ability on debut at Wetherby in December.

Form: 8

Our Laura B

Age: 4| Weight: 10-4| J: Alain Cawley| T: B Haslam

8/1

Sans Frontieres filly. Dam ran once in bumpers/twice raced over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (2m winner) Tail of The Bank. Rare runner in bumpers for yard but certainly appeals on paper in thin contest.

Form:

Sawpit Samantha

Age: 4| Weight: 10-4| J: B S Hughes| T: S Drinkwater

6/4

Champs Elysees filly. Closely related to hurdler Sawpit Sienna. Dam 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner. Yard have done well in bumpers.

Forecasts

Sawpit Samantha (6/4), She's A Steal (4/1), Melchoir (15/2), Our Laura B (8/1), Green Oaks Top Cat (9/1), Aighear (10/1), Pasture Beach (14/1), Lacila Blue (25/1), Ellistrin Star (28/1)

Not a strong-looking bumper with OUR LAURA B chanced before market clues. She makes a fair bit of appeal on paper and could be ready to go. Green Oaks Top Cat and Sawpit Samantha are a couple of other newcomers to note.
