Forest Echo

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Harriet Tucker⁽⁷⁾| T: C Gordon

22/1

Norse Dancer gelding. Dam (b72) lightly raced in bumpers/over hurdles out of 2m-2¼m hurdle/chase winner. Worth monitoring in the betting.

Form:

Galudon³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: D A Jacob| T: H Whittington

7/1

Positive start when runner-up in a bumper at Gowran for Sam Curling a year ago. Probably needed the run when fourth on debut for current yard at Fontwell last month, so remains with potential.

Form: 42-4

Hero

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Aidan Coleman| T: O Murphy

3/1

Saddler Maker gelding. Dam, French bumper winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stays 21f) Cut The Mustard. Of obvious interest on debut for stable that does well in this sphere.

Form:

Knowsley Road⁷⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Lorcan Williams| T: P F Nicholls| BF

2/1

Expensive purchase from points and started encouragingly in this sphere when second at Exeter 78 days ago. Likely to be fitter this time, so another bold showing is expected.

Form: 22

Robinsville

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Brendan Powell| T: C L Tizzard

10/1

Shirocco gelding. Dam unraced sister to top-class hurdler/chaser (stayed 3¼m) Thistlecrack out of fairly useful chaser (23f-3m winner) Ardstown. Makes plenty of appeal on paper.

Form:

Lastordersplease

125/1

Arctic Cosmos mare. Dam (h110), 21f hurdle winner (stayed 3m), half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 3m) Cornet. Likely to need more time.

9/2

£34,000 3-y-o, Walk In The Park gelding. Dam (h123), 2m-2½m hurdle winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stayed 25f) Aces Four. Not discounted first time out.

Forecasts

Knowsley Road (2/1), Hero (3/1), Jack Sprat (9/2), Galudon (7/1), Bresiliant (15/2), Robinsville (10/1), Forest Echo (22/1), Lastordersplease (125/1)

An interesting bumper in which it might pay to side with BRESILIANT if the market speaks in his favour. He represents a stable enjoying a fine season and he has the pedigree of a potentially above-average recruit. Robinsville is another well-bred newcomer who demands respect, and Knowsley Road is open to improvement on the back of a pleasing Rules debut at Exeter.
