Multiple point winner who has improved over hurdles since switched to handicaps, completing the hat-trick over 23f at Exeter last month. 5 lb rise fair enough and another bold show anticipated.

Landed a Plumpton maiden (20.5f) last winter and positive start to this season when runner-up at Ludlow in November. However, not so good next 2 starts and now tried in cheekpieces.

Bagged a Huntingdon handicap hurdle last term and placed all 3 starts this season (twice over this C&D). On a workable mark and leading claims, particularly if the ground remains on the slow side.

Ended last term on a winning note over fences here, and followed up in a C&D handicap hurdle on return in October. Form has nosedived badly since, though, and he needs to bounce back in a major way.

Bumper winner who stepped up on his return/handicap debut effort when fourth over 21.7f in January. However, failed to build on that at Taunton next time (well held when unseating rider 2 out).

Well below par since returning from a lengthy layoff, but the handicapper has been quick to show mercy (now 10 lb below last winning mark) and will be a threat if first-time blinkers work the oracle.

Caused a shock when making a winning return from lengthy absence in Exeter handicap last April. Wasn't in the same form at Warwick the following month, though, and his profile is rather patchy.

Forecasts

Raddon Top (5/4), The Tin Miner (9/2), Game Socks (5/1), Elleon (5/1), Age Of Wisdom (14/1), Reallyradical (14/1), Itsaboutime (20/1), The Real Jet (50/1)

Verdict

AGE OF WISDOM has failed to fire in three starts following a 19-month absence, but better was clearly expected at Huntingdon recently (sent off 5/2 favourite) and the 9-y-o is worth chancing here off a dangerous mark, in the hope that he responds positively to the new headgear. Raddon Top is 3-3 since switched to handicaps and has to be feared, but The Tin Miner could be the main danger.
