Verdict

FITWOOD STAR was below par here when last seen in January, but the 6-y-o otherwise makes plenty of appeal. Indeed, he's 3-5 at this course and 4-5 in handicaps, and this step up in trip is unlikely to be an issue. Three Platoon opened his account over 1¾m here in December and has done little wrong in his two subsequent starts. He is second choice ahead of Progressive and Inn The Bull.
