Form of Haydock reappearance third solid and possibly unsuited by very testing ground when taking a couple of backward steps since. Worth one more chance to show he's on a good mark.
Back on the scoreboard at Wetherby in October. Shrugged off a couple of lesser efforts when third of 7 at Catterick last month. Ought to be competitive.
Won valuable contest at Musselburgh last March. Added to tally at Kelso in September and recorded 3 in-frame efforts later in the autumn. First run for 4 months so possibly best to look elsewhere.
Fairly useful jumper in Ireland, winning maiden chase in July. Good third in Gowran handicap hurdle in October (final run for Mouse Morris) but low-key start for current yard.
Fair winning hurdler in 2019/20 but well held in a Cartmel maiden chase and Catterick handicap hurdle in only 2 starts since. Could only consider if backed.
Much improved on his handicap debut when making all over C&D in December. Progressed further when narrowly denied from 11 lb higher at Wincanton since and remains of interest.
5/2, career best when winning 2m handicap hurdle at Sedgefield 37 days ago. Improving all the time recently, so he's firmly in the mix with Brian Hughes taking the ride again.
Fair Flat winner who has shown a similar level of ability in maiden/novice hurdles. Makes handicap debut in this sphere.
Tongue tied and confirmed the promise of his hurdles debut when landing 4-runner maiden at Southwell (2m) in November. Fair third on Warwick handicap debut since. Remains unexposed for leading yard.
Boosted an impressive strike rate with smooth-travelling display to score at Musselburgh in December. Stopped quickly at Sedgefield the following month but freshened up since and yard in flying form.
Placed on first two starts last season, but ended that campaign on a low note and was beaten falling heavily at the last on his Sedgefield return in November. Off since (had wind surgery).

Forecasts
Planned Paradise (5/2), Greatest Star (11/4), Homme Public (7/2), Enlighten (9/2), Saint Arvans (12/1), Gennady (25/1), Well Planted (40/1), Set In Stone (40/1), Temple Man (40/1), Friary Rock (50/1), Iolani (80/1)
HOMME PUBLIC has had excuses for his pair of defeats since his good reappearance run and this represents a drop in class so he gets the nod. Planned Paradise backed up his C&D handicap debut win with a good second at Wincanton so he's an obvious danger. Sedgefield scorer Enlighten and the unexposed Greatest Star complete the shortlist.
