Hurdles winner upon joining present stable last spring who was in process of running well when unseating 4 out on second chase start at Catterick (19.2f) last month. Remains with potential as a chaser
Off the mark at Fakenham (3m) in November and similar form on 3 of his 4 starts in defeat since, albeit jumping letting him down latest. Still, no forlorn hope here.
Chase winner who ran close to his best when fourth back from 8 months off over hurdles at Uttoxeter (20f) in January. That ought to have put him spot on for this and not discounted.
Veteran who bounced back to form in grand style to score at Newcastle (20f) in January. However, rather predictably, he wasn't in the same form at Ayr next time.
Confirmed promise of his previous effort here when landing a C&D handicap with ease 10 days ago, in control when left clear last. Sound claims if arriving in same form upped 7 lb.
Point winner who stepped up on previous exploits under Rules when twice placed over fences late last year. Testing conditions may have caught him out at Wetherby and claims on back of break/wind op.
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler who failed to improve for the switch to handicaps in that sphere. Still, was placed in a point earlier in his career so worth a market check now sights are set on chasing.
Long-standing maiden who again showed little when pulled up in a first-time visor at Musselburgh (23.7f) 2 weeks ago. Hard to warm to operating from out of the weights once more.

Forecasts
Ashjan (7/4), Croagh Patrick (11/4), Dubai Guest (15/2), Knocknamona (17/2), Oceans Red (9/1), Shaws Bridge (10/1), Mackie Dee (12/1), Farlam King (50/1)
An interesting finale in which it may pay to take a chance on CROAGH PATRICK. A low-mileage 7-y-o, he ran well when placed on each of his first 2 starts over fences and had excuses when last seen at Wetherby in December. On the back of a break/wind op, he may well get back on the up. Recent, facile C&D winner Ashjan is a major threat however, ahead of Shaws Bridge.
