Verdict

Cases can be made for all of these but the most compelling one is for VALLERES, who got firmly back on track sporting first-time cheekpieces when third at Newbury prior to the turn of the year. Having been dropped 3 lb for that effort, Alan King's charge is taken to come out on top. Champagne Court rarely runs a bad race so he's expected so go close, with Flagrant Delitiep next on the list.
