Thrice-raced maiden. Fourth of 7 in minor event at Chelmsford City (8f, 17/2), not knocked about. Off 7 months ahead of this debut for new yard/handicap bow and equipped with a first-time hood.

Course winner. Last of 6 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 11/1) 37 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and the new headgear will need to work the oracle if she's to play a leading role.
Course winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2021. Sixth of 8 in handicap at this course (7.2f, 18/1) 13 days ago. Back up in trip and mark continues to slide, but he looks vulnerable all the same.

Didn't need to be at best when winning 7-runner seller at this C&D (15/8) 42 days ago, always holding on. First run for yard after leaving James Ferguson and more on her plate this time.
3/1, eighth of 9 in handicap at Southwell (12.1f) 29 days ago. Back down in trip on first run for yard after leaving Richard Spencer and cheekpieces on 1st time. Others preferred.
Respectable third of 9 in handicap (15/2) at Newcastle (8f) 10 days ago. Place possibilities here off the same mark.
Ninth of 14 in handicap (28/1) at Dundalk (7f). Off 93 days and back up in trip for this tapeta debut/first run for yard after leaving Des Donovan. Interesting to see what the betting has to say.
Unreliable type. One win from 26 Flat runs. 40/1, tenth of 12 in handicap at Southwell (7.1f) 14 days ago. Back up in trip and he looks set for another struggle.

Forecasts
Robert Walpole (8/13), Coase (9/4), Bronze River (13/2), Across The Nile (7/1), Drish Hero (10/1), Noble Dawn (16/1), Fieldsman (18/1), Bertog (18/1), Gertcha (50/1)
ROBERT WALPOLE is of strong interest now pitched into a handicap off what looks a fair opening mark on debut for Roger Varian. Assuming that Coase doesn't take his chance (due to run at Newcastle on Thursday), the lightly-raced 5-y-o could be the answer. Bronze River put in a decent shift at Newcastle recently and he's likely to be on the premises, while Drish Hero is also worth a second look.
