Dam half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Mojo Moon. Useful on Flat (stays 15.5f) and changed hands for €140,000 in November. Failed to meet expectations on recent hurdles bow. Blinkers on.

Half-brother to Tokum and Path, both 19f hurdle winners in France. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (2m-2¼m winner) Augustine. Well held in heavy-ground bumper in October.

No impact in bumper/brace of hurdles.

Made the ideal start when comfortably landing a 9-runner bumper at Market Rasen in the spring. Similar form when sixth at Cheltenham and sure to step up on opening third over hurdles in December.

Ran to a fair level when third of 17 on his Warwick debut in December, travelling well for a long way. Far too free at Exeter a month later and now tackles obstacles.

Half-brother to 3 winners on Flat but didn't show enough in a pair of bumpers at Lingfield to make him of serious interest.

Placed both starts in points in 2018 but clearly had his share of issues and is probably one for handicaps.

Didn't show a great deal in Irish bumpers back in 2018. Runner-up on third and final start between the flags the following year, but showed nothing on recent return for new yard. Tongue tie on.

More like it when a keeping-on third at Exeter 3 weeks ago. More to come as her stamina is drawn out.

Won 8-runner bumper at Lyon Parilly in November by 3 lengths from Il Est Francais. Left M. Pitart €80,000 later in November and has to be of interest for top yard now hurdling.

Related to winners and offered something to work on in a bumper/maiden hurdle at Wincanton this winter. More to come, particularly if settling down.

Maiden on Flat for Richard Hannon. Showed aptitude for hurdling when third in a C&D juvenile in November but form isn't anything to get carried away with.

Jeremy The Jinn (5/6), Inca De Lafayette (11/4), Aristocrate (11/1), Moorland Rambler (12/1), Leissieres Express (12/1), Professor Calculus (16/1), Cheating Jack (25/1), Start Point (33/1), Boolamore Glory (66/1), Staar (100/1), Mourzouk (200/1), Kayf Baha (250/1), Estate Italiana (300/1), Markmyword (300/1)

Verdict

Bumper-winner JEREMY THE JINN showed enough when third on hurdles debut over C&D in December to think he's up to winning a race of this nature so he looks the way to go. Inca de Lafayette tasted success on his final start in France and has joined Paul Nicholls so he's feared, with Aristocrate a potentially different proposition this time.
