Tokyo Live²⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 12-3| J: Ned Fox⁽⁸⁾| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 102

10/1

Half-brother to 4 winners, including smart French hurdler Tunis. Made the frame all 3 starts in 4-y-o hurdles for Francois Nicolle last summer but most disappointing on recent debut for in-form yard.

Stanley Pincombe¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 12-2| J: Joe Anderson⁽³⁾| T: C Gordon| OR: 101

5/2

Shaped better sent hurdling than he did in any of his 3 bumpers when third of 12 in novice at Wincanton following a breathing op. Lacked a change of gear over same C&D latest and now handicapping.

Form: 3-4934

Bay Of Intrigue²⁷⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 12-2| J: R Law-Eadie⁽⁸⁾| T: F O'Brien| OR: 101

9/4

Progressive form without getting his head in front over hurdles for John O'Shea. Failed to make an impact for Tom Symonds but now looks well treated starting out for successful yard.

Form: F2P7-U7

Hit The Rocks³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Caoilin Quinn⁽³⁾| T: G & J Moore| OR: 97

9/2

Fair 12f winner on Flat who had hood on when beating only one in handicap on his debut over fences in May. No show sole start since over timber last month and has a lot to prove.

Form: 0652-50

Whitlock^p⁴⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Cillin Leonard| T: A Irvine| OR: 90| D

50/1

Useful at best on Flat and put it all together to get off mark over hurdles in Plumpton handicap in May. Didn't last much longer with Nicky Henderson and disappointing for new yard.

Form: 0-1034P

Ace Time¹⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Corey McGivern⁽⁵⁾| T: J R Jenkins| OR: 87| BF| D

6/1

Purple patch when landing 2m handicaps at Leicester and Uttoxeter to end 2021. Revised mark anchored him in hat-trick bid at Doncaster.

Form: P83118

Forecasts

Bay Of Intrigue (9/4), Stanley Pincombe (5/2), Hit The Rocks (9/2), Ace Time (6/1), Mister Moretti (9/1), Tokyo Live (10/1), Falcon Sun (10/1), Whitlock (50/1)

BAY OF INTRIGUE was out of form in the spring but he's since transferred to an excellent yard and the assessor has given him a major chance. Stanley Pincombe is the likely improver in the field, while Tokyo Live will surely show more this time.
