Justified support in making a winning start in this sphere after a year off at Chepstow. Shaped much better than the bare result 10 months on at Exeter but no show at Warwick since. This much easier.

Back to winning ways over 21f at Stratford (third time he's won that particular race) but not at that level in deeper races at Cheltenham and Leicester. This less competitive. Cheekpieces on.

Winning pointer who posted solid fourth of 12 in handicap chase at Chepstow (23.6f, good to soft, 28/1) on debut over fences but disappointed at Southwell next time. Still early days.

Fair winner at 20f over hurdles and easily best over fences in first-time cheekpieces when third at Taunton. Unable to repeat that at Wincanton since but remains low mileage.

Won 3m Newcastle novice hurdle in April 2018. Limited to just 5 starts (all over fences) since, and efforts this season no better than respectable, looking awkward latest.

Dual hurdles winner during 2019/20 campaign but failed to complete on 3 of his 4 starts over fences last season and hasn't shown enough this term to make him of interest.

Won 3 times at Southwell last season. Back on track when runner-up at Fakenham in December, clear of rest. Big shout off same mark.

Lost his way for Dr Richard Newland, but showed he retains some of his spark when fourth in a handicap chase at Catterick. Not seen to best effect back over hurdles since.

Proved better than ever as he made it 3 wins from his last 6 starts at Lingfield in December but only fourth off revised mark in this headgear at Sedgefield since.

ECOSSAIS was back to his best when runner-up at Fakenham. pulling clear of the rest, and looks ready to strike off the same mark. No Rematch shaped much better than being pulled up would suggest at Exeter on his return and is worth another chance to build on that having disappointed in the Classic Chase at Warwick last month. One Forty Seven is another who is back down in class.
