(7)

Earlofthecotswolds¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 9-5| J: Liam Keniry| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| CD

14/1

Useful hurdler and translated that ability to Flat when 1½ lengths second of 4 to Rainbow Dreamer in 2m Wolverhampton conditions event 19 days ago. Likely to find Alan King's charge too strong again.

Form: 2

(2)

Leoncavallo^b,t¹⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 9-5| J: Rossa Ryan| T: D Pipe| OR: 81| BF| D

22/1

Useful hurdler who has recorded good placed efforts on all 6 starts in that sphere this season. Also pretty useful on the Flat but has a fair bit to find on these terms.

Form: 12216/8-

(5)

Rainbow Dreamer^p¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 9-5| J: A Kirby| T: A King| OR: 105| CD

4/1

Very good AW performer who boasts a 4-4 C&D record, including winning the last 2 runnings of this. Set himself up nicely for this with a Wolverhampton success last month. Bold bid looks assured.

Form: 45402-1

(3)

Sleeping Lion⁵¹

4/1

Forecasts

Nayef Road (2/1), Roberto Escobarr (3/1), Sleeping Lion (4/1), Rainbow Dreamer (4/1), Earlofthecotswolds (14/1), Zeeband (18/1), Leoncavallo (22/1)

A smart heat. NAYEF ROAD had Rainbow Dreamer in behind him when landing a Newcastle Group 3 on his sole previous AW start and can deny Alan King's 9-y-o a hat-trick of wins in this contest. Roberto Escobar and Sleeping Lion can fight it out for third.
