Prolific in sellers and carried on good work back in handicaps, runner-up at Cheltenham/Doncaster at up to 3m before success at Bangor. Up 3 lb in a deeper race but he clearly demands respect.
Revitalised last term, winning 5 times (2 hurdle, 3 chase) and change of headgear worked a treat when landing a few bets in a veterans' handicap over fences here 12 days ago. 4 lb lower back hurdling.
Completed a handicap hurdle hat-trick in autumn 2019. Struggled in 2020 though and has stamina to prove over this far. Headgear off and difficult to fancy on first run for 15 months.
Five-time hurdles winner at Uttoxeter for Harry Whittington. Third 2 of 4 starts for current yard and cheekpieces quickly back on following a lazy display at Cheltenham.
Course winner (20.5f) from 5 lb higher in May and shaped as though back in good form when fifth at Taunton a month ago, denied clear run and forced wide. Has to be of interest, particularly back here.
Opened account in good style in 17.7f Fontwell novice hurdle in March. Excellent return to action when runner-up on handicap debut at Ascot (21.6f) but seemed to find 25.5f too much at Hereford.
2m maiden hurdle winner in Ireland on debut in March but well held starting out for new yard at Lingfield last month, taking strong hold and dropping away quickly from 3 out. Upped further in trip.
Back on track when opening his account over hurdles at Southwell in May. Off 7 months after and didn't take to chasing at the first attempt at Uttoxeter. Cheekpieces replace blinkers.
Irish point winner who opened account over hurdles in a 20.5f course maiden last month, going clear. That wasn't much of a race but he could have more to offer again handicapping upped in trip.
Landed handicap chase/hurdle double at Fontwell 7 months apart but he's a lazy sort and didn't fancy it in cheekpieces on his last 2 starts to end 2021. Didn't show much on recent C&D stable debut.

Forecasts
Minella Buster (5/2), Paricolor (9/2), Bard Of Brittany (9/2), Innisfree Lad (6/1), Scarpia (7/1), Its Gonnahappen (12/1), Sirobbie (16/1), Mason Jar (20/1), Brummie Boys (28/1), Reallyradical (100/1)
BARD OF BRITTANY can boast a very good course record and lurking 5 lb below his last successful mark, he is definitely weighted to strike. Innisfree Lad won a veterans' handicap chase at the last meeting here and is a big danger if holding it together, but the unexposed Minella Buster is feared most.
