€15,000 3-y-o, Arctic Cosmos gelding. Dam (c104/h107), maiden jumper (stayed 3m), half-sister to smart hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 3m) Emotional Moment. Worth a market check.
Has a reasonable pedigree and caught the eye staying on from a long way back when fifth at Market Rasen on debut. Type to improve markedly for the experience, so could make his presence felt.
Half-brother to a bumper winner and showed something to work on at Fontwell 118 days ago, so he's not a forlorn hope for all there's some improvement required.
Bred to need time and, while he made a pleasing start at Worcester in May, he shaped as if amiss at the same track on his reappearance 100 days ago. Others preferred.
Bred to need further in time but showed up well when runner-up to a promising sort at Catterick on debut 70 days ago. He's likely to find at least one too good, however.
Well-bred sort in good hands and there was a good deal of encouragement to be gleaned from his fourth at Wincanton on debut. Worth chancing to open his account at the second attempt.
Showed some ability at Southwell on debut but he's bred to peak over longer distances and jumps, so he's unlikely to score in this sphere.
In frame both starts in Irish point, then shaped well when a narrow third at Newbury on Rules bow 85 days ago. Another bold showing is expected.
€20,000 3-y-o, Westerner gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (21f-23f winner) Topsham Belle. Easily won sole start in points (Dec 12). One to consider.
Flat-bred mare who offered no encouragement when last of 5 in a C&D bumper a fortnight ago. Hard to fancy.
€35,000 3-y-o, Champs Elysees gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stays 2½m) Lough Derg Spirit. May well need more time.
Noble Mission gelding who wasn't seen to best effect when a staying-on fourth at Market Rasen 104 days ago. More to come up in trip with a hood applied, so dangerous to dismiss.
Sister to 4 winners, including fairly useful hurdler Phoenix Dawn, but there wasn't enough encouragement (only hinted at ability) on debut at Newbury to make him a likely player in this.

HUNTING BROOK is the pick on pedigree and shaped well for a long way when fourth at Wincanton a month ago, so he's fancied to find enough improvement to open his account at the second attempt. Rambo T achieved a bit more in form terms than the selection when third at Newbury first time up, so he's regarded as a danger, while point-recruit Western Zephyr is also on the radar.
