Fairly useful dual juvenile hurdle winner last season. Not at the same level in 3 chaes this term and well held on AW Flat earlier this month. Others hold more obvious claims.

Won C&D maiden and Musselburgh handicap in 2019/20, but didn't show much at Ascot when returning from a 21-month layoff in October.

Put up a career-best effort when landing a Market Rasen handicap last month but failed to build on that when only fifth back there on Boxing Day.

Better effort since returning from a near 2-year absence when fourth of 10 in 2m Wetherby handicap on Boxing Day. Won't have to step up much on that run to have a say.

Gained breakthrough win at Stratford in October and better than ever when back on the scoresheet in a 15-runner race over C&D 12 days ago. 8 lb rise demands more again.

Sprang a surprise when making a successful start for this yard at Newton Abbot in September but has been out of form since and was well held at Ludlow last time.

Back on track when runner-up at Kempton last month and built on that when third behind 2 in-form rivals at Ludlow 2 weeks later. Should give another good account.

Failed to win on Flat for Rod Millman but it's quickly clicked over hurdles for new yard, winning at Ludlow and Market Rasen. Not up to Finale at Chepstow over Christmas but this more realistic.

Fair form on Flat last summer and in process of running well when falling last in a mares' novice at Wincanton (2m) on Boxing Day. More chance back in a handicap.

Fairly useful Flat performer (won Newmarket handicap final start for Ralph Beckett) and progressed from hurdles debut when runner-up at Fontwell in November. Opening mark looks workable.

Won French claimer before third in 2m Leicester juvenile on yard debut. Only sixth in pair of handicaps since, but was better than result over 19f here latterly, going for home too early.

Fairly useful on Flat (won twice in France at 2 yrs). Placed in a pair of juveniles since switching to hurdles and potrential improver now making a quick switch to handicaps.

Forecasts

Tease And Seize (7/2), Cornicello (7/2), Amelia's Dance (4/1), Midnight Ginger (8/1), Rhebus Road (10/1), Man Of Light (10/1), Sweet Nightingale (10/1), Kalzari (12/1), Feel The Pinch (16/1), Bathsheba Bay (16/1), Monete (33/1), Bannister (40/1), Borak (100/1)

Verdict

Perhaps best to focus on the 4-y-os towards the foot of the weights. RHEBUS ROAD looks on a feasible mark based on his Fontwell second when last seen in November and gets the nod. Kalzari went for home too soon over a longer trip here last time and is of interest back over shorter, while Cornicello is a potential improver on handicap debut.

  2. KALZARI (FR)
  3. CORNICELLO (FR)
