Has struggled for form in varied events since 3¼m Musselburgh win last February. Does have up Brian Hughes up, though, so worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
Fairly useful chaser in France but well held in a Catterick handicap hurdle on his stable debut last February and absent since. Could only consider if backed.
Thrived late last year, rattling off quick-fire hat-trick. Shaped as if still in good form when fourth of 13 over 19f at Taunton last month. Claims if stamina holds now stepping up in trip.
Fair maiden hurdler for Philip Hobbs. Little impact in points last year and watching brief advised on Rules return with a first-time headgear combination fitted.
Fair form, finishing placed on all 3 starts since his debut, including a handicap. Less exposed than most of these and fancied to figure prominently again.
Fair form in maiden/novice hurdles but he ran no sort of race on 19.5f Ayr handicap debut in November. Up in trip.
Kelso chase winner last winter who didn't show enough in a couple of comeback runs over hurdles last month to fancy his chances here.
Long time since he last won, although latest Kelso second was his best run this season. Sports a visor for the first time here.
Respectable fifth of 10 at Kelso in first-time cheekpieces (off now) over Christmas, although the reopposing Skipthescales was ahead of him in second.
Fair hurder/chaser for Katie Scott and he's shaped with promise in a pair of handicap hurdles since returning from an absence for his new yard, finishing second of 14 at Hexham latterly. Big player.
Hasn't offered that much encouragement in his 4 runs this season but the fact that both his wins came here means it wouldn't be a surprise if he staged a revival.
Didn't take to fences last month and he was rather laboured when a well-held third back hurdling at Wetherby 11 days ago. First-time blinkers (replacing cheekpieces) need to sharpen him up.
Opened his account in 3m Musselburgh handicap last January and has recorded creditable efforts on both starts this season (C&D first occasion). Ought to figure again.
Winner of 19f claimer on final start in France, but it's hard to make a case for him judged on efforts on this side of the Channel.
Hit the target at Carlisle and Kelso last spring but not in the same form in recent months. 5 lb out of the handicap and likely best to look elsewhere.
