5/2, last of 5 in bumper at Musselburgh on debut 79 days ago on his sole run for Laura Morgan. Plenty more is required.
6/1, seventh of 9 in bumper at Huntingdon on debut 58 days ago. Lots more needed here.
125/1, last of 9 in bumper at Huntingdon on debut 58 days ago. Big step forward is required.
Modest form in two bumpers but has offered little in this sphere, last of 12 in minor event (300/1) at Kempton (8f) 40 days ago. Hard to make a case for.
20/1, much better effort when second of 11 in minor event at this course (8.6f) 28 days ago, running on. Firmly in the mix now stepping up in trip.
12/1, promising fourth of 11 in minor event at this course (8.6f) on debut 28 days ago, nearest finish. Well-related son of Churchill is sure to do better. High on the shortlist.
Passing Glance gelding. Dam of little account. In very good hands so newcomer can't be discounted. Worth a market check.
20/1, shaped well when debut fourth of 14 in minor event at Kempton (7f) 49 days ago, keeping on well late. Has more to offer, especially now stepped up in trip. Player.
50/1, tenth of 11 in maiden at Lingfield (8f, AW) on debut 48 days ago, very slowly away. Has lots to find on form.
Australia filly. Dam South African 1m-13f winner. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and hails from top yard. Interesting newcomer.
Charming Thought filly. Half-sister to 7f winner Tribesman and 1¼m winner Brass Clankers. Dam sprint maiden. Others are preferred on this occasion.

Forecasts
Zain Sarinda (15/8), Base Note (9/4), Grand Alliance (11/4), Marmalashes (13/2), Sous Surveillance (20/1), Waltons Grove (40/1), Branston Pikkle (50/1), Thoughtful Gift (66/1), Deac's Girl (100/1), Joyful Song (250/1), Doves Delight (250/1)
ZAIN SARINDA made a promising start when fourth at Kempton (form working out well) and with this step up in trip sure to suit he gets the nod. Grand Alliance also promises to benefit from this longer distance though and is next on the list, while newcomer Marmalashes and course runner-up Base Note are not taken lightly either in a competitive maiden.
