Easy winner of Ayr bumper on debut in May and looked a good prospect when taking a novice hurdle at the same course (2m) on return. Easily followed up over C&D 18 days ago and looks one to follow.
Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1¾m) who built on his hurdling debut promise for Ellmarie Holden to get off the mark in 9-runner novice at Hereford (16.2f) in November. Open to further improvement.
Well ridden to make a winning bumper debut at Newcastle (14.3f) last December. Disappointed next time but has offered something to work on both starts over hurdles. More needed here though.
Has failed to beat a rival in 6 starts on the Flat. Absent since 2019 and hood applied for this yard/hurdles bow.
Imperial Monarch gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/useful hurdler Kissesforkatie. Maiden Irish pointer, third last time (Nov 14). Easy to look elsewhere on Rules debut.
Fair on the Flat but has made an unpromising start to his hurdling career, well held in a couple of starts at Newcastle. Faces another struggle.
Ayr bumper winner who shaped with some encouragement on the back of a wind operation sent hurdling when fourth there in November. Similar form in maiden next time but handicaps will be more his bag.
Modest Flat winner who was shaping well until falling last on hurdles bow at Sedgefield in October. Left John Quinn prior to finishing second in Ayr novice but not in same form at Sedgefield since.
Achieved little in bumpers and similar story in both starts over hurdles.
Has a stout pedigree and looked short of pace in a 2m bumper here 8 months ago. Never on terms switched to hurdling recently so tough to see her featuring on that evidence.

Forecasts
Soft Risk (2/5), Believe Jack (5/2), Well Planted (11/1), Travail D'Orfevre (14/1), Andante (33/1), Annies Regatta (125/1), Ralphy Boy Two (125/1), Lisloran (150/1), West Lawn (150/1), Last Glance (300/1)
This could develop into a match between SOFT RISK and Believe Jack, with preference for the former, who stretched his unbeaten record under Rules to 3 with a facile success over C&D 18 days ago. With further improvement on the cards, he gets the nod. Olly Murphy's charge is sure to give him plenty to think about however, with Well Planted looking the pick of the remainder.
- SOFT RISK (FR)
- BELIEVE JACK (FR)
- WELL PLANTED (FR)
