Saryshagann²⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 11-12| J: Ryan Mania| T: A M Thomson| OR: 99

8/1

Fairly useful but ungenuine on Flat (stays 11f). Fair form at best over hurdles but proved too free both starts for this yard back from long absence last month.

Form: 324/77

Ensel Du Perche²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-11| J: Fergus Gregory| T: Mrs Stella Barclay| OR: 98

6/1

Fair maiden hurdler for Gavin Cromwell in Ireland. Low-key start initially for this yard but dropped quickly in the weights and much more like it when runner-up at Market Rasen on Boxing Day.

Form: 0-5P0P2

Bestiarius¹⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 11-10| J: B S Hughes| T: G Boanas| OR: 97| D

10/3

Fair hurdler who showed he retains ability despite jumping poorly when third at Hexham on belated reappearance. Has shaped as though still in good form both starts since and a bold bid is assured.

Form: 4/9F-324

Evita Du Mesnil⁶⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: K Brogan⁽³⁾| T: D Bourke| OR: 97| D

11/1

Strong-travelling mare who bagged her third victory for current yard at Perth in May. Struggled to land a blow both starts back from a break but now just 1 lb above last winning mark.

Form: 5-14880

Fourth Of July^t⁷⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: William Shanahan⁽⁷⁾| T: R M Smith| OR: 91| C

15/2

Back-to-back handicap chase winner here in March. Rather in-and-out over the larger obstacles since and lower hurdles mark is justified.

Form: 3-23755

Choix Des Armes^h²⁸⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 11-3| J: Theo Gillard⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs A C Hamilton| OR: 90

50/1

Successful hurdler for Paul Nicholls in 2018. Below that level in light career for this yard since but jumping will be put under less pressure returned to timber.

Form: P6/P37U-

Rip Rocks Paddy Ok³³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-10| J: Thomas Willmott⁽⁵⁾| T: J K Hunter| OR: 83| D

150/1

Fairly useful winning ex-Irish hurdler but has shown nothing in 6 starts for Kevin Hunter.

Form: 60-P8PP

Jamil^t¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: S Mulqueen| T: Miss T Jackson| OR: 82

12/1

Modest at best on the Flat and has offered little over hurdles in recent weeks, including on handicap debut fitted with a tongue tie.

Form: 6765

Bouncing Bobby³⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 10-7| J: Sean Quinlan| T: M Todhunter| OR: 80

7/1

Modest stayer on the Flat who has shown a bit under waiting tactics all 3 of his qualifying runs. Likely improver now handicapping.

Form: 768

Southeast Rose¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-4| J: C O'Farrell| T: M Todhunter| OR: 77| CD

9/1

Handicap chase winner from 10 lb higher in November 2020. Off nearly a year and very little to shout about this term so has a lot to prove back over hurdles.

Form: 614-6PP

Baraboy^p²⁹

Age: 12| Weight: 10-2| J: Lorcan Murtagh⁽³⁾| T: F P Murtagh| OR: 75| D

11/1

Back to peak fitness on third start back from a lengthy absence when landing handicap hurdle at Hexham. Fair third at Sedgefield next time but unable to continue the good work at Newcastle.

Form: 9/07135

Abouttimeyoutoldme²⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 10-0| J: Craig Nichol| T: Ewan Whillans| OR: 73

66/1

No impact on Flat or over hurdles.

Form: 6060P/6

Flash Moriviere¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 10-0| J: D R Fox| T: A B Hamilton| OR: 73

17/2

French import who is yet to offer any encouragement for this yard.

Form: 000-50

Sisu^h,t⁷³

Age: 4| Weight: 10-0| J: D B Hurst⁽⁷⁾| T: S Corbett| OR: 82

50/1

Looked rather limited on the Flat for Sir Mark Prescott and makes a quick switch to handicaps following a brace of fourth-place finishes at Sedgefield.

Form: 44

Forecasts

That's Your Lottie (5/2), Bestiarius (10/3), Ensel Du Perche (6/1), Bouncing Bobby (7/1), Fourth Of July (15/2), Saryshagann (8/1), Flash Moriviere (17/2), Southeast Rose (9/1), Evita Du Mesnil (11/1), Baraboy (11/1), Jamil (12/1), Choix Des Armes (50/1), Sisu (50/1), Abouttimeyoutoldme (66/1), Rip Rocks Paddy Ok (150/1)

EVITA DU MESNIL has failed to fire both starts back from an absence, but she's now just 1 lb above her last winning mark, is likely to get a good pace to aim at and is partnered by an excellent conditional. Bestiarius and Ensel du Perche are a couple of potential dangers.
