Proved a different proposition when opening account in a C&D handicap in November. Unable to land a serious blow stepped up to listed level back here since but this at least more suitable now.
Course winner. 10/3, ninth of 10 in a C&D handicap 5 days ago, pushed along 2f out but not quickening. Had previously shaped encouragingly around here and not dismissed if bouncing back.
Latest win at Newcastle in October. 33/1, respectable fifth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 13 days ago, not ideally placed. Visor on 1st time.
50/1, seventh of 14 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 10 days ago, ridden 2f out but not quickening. Return to further rates a plus now and handicapper continues to relinquish his grip.
11/1, fifth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 9 days ago. Merely ticking over at present but another who continues to edge down the weights and worth noting if strong in betting.
Tongue strap on for 1st time, improved on recent efforts to win 10-runner handicap (4/1) at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 28 days ago, staying on to lead final 50 yds. No reason why she won't go well again.
C&D winner. 10/1, seventh of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 33 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
150/1, tenth of 14 in a C&D handicap in October, missing break and always behind. That was his first start for 5 months but absent again since and he can only be watched.
Belatedly shed maiden tag at Beverley (10f) in July. Made the frame twice on turf thereafter and best not judged on last month's effort at Southwell having been left poorly placed. Worth a second look
Fast Company gelding who didn't offer a great deal in a trio of minor/maiden events at 7f early last season. However, does now get a crack at handicaps so worth a precautionary market check for clues.
Remains a maiden after 34 Flat runs. Creditable fifth of 13 in a C&D handicap in August, albeit well positioned on the front end. Others make more appeal for win purposes back from a break.

Forecasts
Sea Of Charm (11/8), Kodiac Harbour (7/2), Nuble (9/2), Le Bayou (9/1), Cuban Hope (14/1), Mythical Madness (18/1), Central City (25/1), Elegant Love (28/1), Global Style (33/1), Trooper Cooper (40/1), Sherpa Trail (80/1)
SEA OF CHARM's recent exploits haven't gone unnoticed by the handicapper but she's clearly an improved filly for the step up to 1¼m and earns the vote to come out on top back in a handicap. Nuble and Le Bayou are others to consider, along with Kodiac Harbour.

- NUBLE (URU)
