Last of 13 in bumper at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft, 50/1) on NH debut 54 days ago. Tongue strap on for 1st time and he's hard to warm to on this Flat debut.

Once-raced gelding on Flat. First run since leaving Henry Candy when third of 10 in juvenile hurdle (20/1) at Catterick (15.7f, good) on NH debut 48 days ago. Obvious claims back in this sphere.

Once-raced colt. Fifth of 9 in minor event at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 8/1) on debut 19 days ago, not knocked about. Should have more to offer and could make his presence felt.

5,000 gns yearling, Gutaifan filly. Dam unraced out of useful 9.5f winner Grenadia. Entitled to come on for the run, but she's certainly worth a second look in the betting.

Forecasts

Vignoni (6/4), Depart A Minuit (3/1), T Maxie (4/1), Dark Flyer (9/2), No Fear Lucy (14/1), Are You Able (33/1), Daruan (80/1), Gordonontheorgan (125/1)

Verdict

This represents a decent opportunity for VIGNONI, who shaped well when runner-up on his sole start for Henry Candy at Kempton last spring and he didn't fare badly starting out for this yard over hurdles at Catterick in November. Depart A Minuit should be more streetwise following his recent Wolverhampton introduction and is next on the list ahead of newcomers T Maxie and No Fear Lucy.

  1. VIGNONI
  2. DEPART A MINUIT
  3. T MAXIE (IRE)
