Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap Chase

Off time: 14:55 | Winning time: 6m 24.60s

Kalooki³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 140| BF

9/2

4/1, below form seventh of 13 in handicap chase at Newbury on return 32 days ago. Still not fully exposed as a chaser, and this is a less intense scenario than last time, so he's respected.

Form: 13P32-7

Port Of Mars^t³¹³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Fergus Gregory| T: O Murphy| OR: 137| DWS

12/1

Progressive over fences prior to being pulled up at Kelso when last seen in February. Has had a breathing operation since and remains with potential.

Form: 13/321P-

Glen Forsa^t³²

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 133| D

12/1

One-time very smart chaser for Mick Channon but not the force of old and was pulled up at Newcastle last time, so others make more appeal.

Form: 740P-4P

Cat Tiger^t⁵³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Mr D Maxwell⁽³⁾| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 132| BF

9/2

Classy chaser who won Leicester hunter in March and wasn't discredited on his next couple of starts. Entitled to come on for latest effort at Aintree and this mark isn't beyond him.

Form: 1P/13-25

Cool Mix³²

Age: 9| Weight: 11-1| J: C O'Farrell| T: I Jardine| OR: 129

4/1

Proved very reliable last term and has looked as good as ever this time round, fourth in a handicap chase at Newcastle a month ago. Liable to give another good account.

Form: 3335-34

Danny Whizzbang^t,v¹¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: Mitchell Bastyan⁽³⁾| T: M F Harris| OR: 128| D

10/1

Looked excellent prospect for Paul Nicholls when taking Grade 2 novice chase but failed to go on as expected. Moved yards and has showed no promise this season.

Form: 7P54-P5

Oscar Robertson³⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-10| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR: 124| D

85/40

Career best when winning 5-runner handicap chase at Wetherby 35 days ago, easily. Still relatively lightly raced as a chaser and more to come if he can jump with the same fluency.

Form: 4144-61

Rule 4

Rule 4 applies to board prices only - deduction 10p in the pound

Forecasts

Oscar Robertson (85/40), Chirico Vallis (3/1), Cool Mix (4/1), Kalooki (9/2), Cat Tiger (9/2), Danny Whizzbang (10/1), Glen Forsa (12/1), Port Of Mars (12/1)

OSCAR ROBERTSON jumped well and completed quite a straightforward task at Wetherby 35 days ago, so he's worth a chance to build on that and follow up in this slightly more competitive event. Kalooki makes plenty of appeal down in grade, while another solid showing looks assured from Cool Mix.
