Showed promise when fourth on debut at Wincanton last year. Failed to repeat that form on heavy ground twice since but is in good hands and dangerous to dismiss now going handicapping after a break.

Irish point winner who shaped well when third at Exeter last month on hurdles bow after a wind op. Below that form when fourth at Lingfield 2 weeks later and tongue-tie fitted for handicap debut.

Fair form in 3 bumpers and 2 starts over hurdles. Caught the eye running on well in third over 2m at Newcastle last month and should improve for this step up in trip on handicap debut. Big player

Placed in an Irish point and then third in a 20f novice at Carlisle on NH debut in October. Latest effort overlooked as failed to stay 3m. Good claimer booked for handicap bow and on a decent mark.

Fourth of 17 in Killarney novice hurdle (20f) on final start for Colm Murphy. In need of run after 6 months off when down the field on yard/handicap debut at Exeter 23 days ago. Entitled to progress.

Placed in maiden/novice hurdles here 6 months apart but well held on handicap debut (21f) in October. Creditable fourth in 2m Kelso novice 3 weeks ago but more required here.

Showed ability during 2019/20 campaign (fourth on handicap debut over 2m here) but well held on sole start last season and made little impact after 13 months off at Uttoxeter 19 days ago.

Third in a brace of novice events around 20f this autumn and then shaped like a non-stayer on handicap debut over 3m at Aintree 22 days ago. Will benefit from drop in trip and could still do better.

Modest in bumpers and similar over hurdles, but is bred to be useful, is an athletic sort on looks and is in top hands, so no surprise if he takes a big step forward now handicapping at a lowly level.

Bumper winner who made a positive start over hurdles when third in a 2m Kelso novice in October. Similar form on both handicap starts and is on a competitive mark, but others open to more progress.

Lost his way on the Flat but was useful at his best, so a market check advised off lowly mark on handicap hurdle debut (offered encouragement when third at Sedgefield last month). Cheekpieces on.

No impact when seventh of 11 in a handicap hurdle at Ayr last month and subsequently failed to beat a rival home on the Flat at Newcastle. Easy to look elsewhere.

Good pedigree and was runner-up in an Irish point, so worth a market check on handicap debut after three quick qualifying runs, for all he's shown only modest form so far.

Forecasts

Well Educated (10/3), High Moon (11/2), Jaytee (6/1), Torngat (13/2), Jersey (7/1), Lock Down Luke (9/1), Dedanser (10/1), Fazayte (12/1), Doyen La Lutte (12/1), Garincha (14/1), Not What It Seems (18/1), Cafe Pushkin (18/1), Ravenscar (33/1), Sameem (40/1), One Step Too Far (80/1), Grow Nasa Grow (100/1)

Verdict

WELL EDUCATED finished with running left when third at Newcastle last month and he can raise his game now upped in trip and switched to handicaps. Jaytee has been knocking on the door since returning from a long absence and ought to go well, while Dedanser can have his latest effort overlooked and is potentially well treated on his handicap bow. Jersey is a potential improver to note.
