Winner at Wolverhampton in December. 5/2, creditable second of 14 in handicap at this C&D 2 days ago, needing stronger gallop. Carries penalty. Shortlist material.
Eleventh of 13 in handicap at Bath (1m) 60 days ago, slowly in to stride and never a threat. Return to all-weather/short break needs to have positive effect now.
C&D winner who ran best race for some time when second of 13 in handicap at this C&D 44 days ago, having run of race. Task is to back that up now.
Creditable fourth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 53 days ago, headway 2f out but one paced thereafter. Eased further in the weights and yard switch may have positive effect.
4-time course winner. Bit below form fifth of 10 in handicap (20/1) at this course (6f) 18 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Winner at Chelmsford (7f) in November. Creditable fourth of 14 in handicap back at that veue (1m) 21 days ago, a 6 lb rise seemingly his undoing. Still, fact he arrives in form a positive here.
Remains a maiden after 22 Flat runs. 80/1, bit below form fifth of 12 in handicap at this course (1m) 18 days ago, travelling smoothly and keeping on. Needs to back that up now.
Twenty two runs since last win in 2018. Below form eighth of 13 in handicap (28/1) at Chelmsford City (6f). Off 14 months. First run for yard after leaving Amy Murphy.
WInner at Cork (7f) in April. Not seen to best effect when fourth in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) 48 days ago, left poorly placed. Not one to go oerboard about but he looks a player in this line up.
Maiden who filled the frame on each of her last 3 starts in AW during second half of 2019. Absent since though, so betting may prove the best guide starting out for new yard.
125/1, thirteenth of 14 in handicap at Chelmsford (1m) 21 days ago. Tongue strap on for 1st time.
Sixteen runs since last win in 2019. Eighth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 25/1) 48 days ago, running on. Mark has eased further but others stronger for win purposes.
Respectable second of 12 in handicap (18/1) at Lingfield (6f, AW) 21 days ago. Can give a good account again.
Bit below form 7¼ lengths fourth of 11 to Dors Toyboy in handicap (5/1) at Chelmsford (7f) 41 days ago. Visor on 1st time.

Successful at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start, RING OF GOLD again ran well when runner-up over C&D on Wednesday, and a stronger gallop would have suited ideally. He looks sure to go well again and can come out on top. Strategic Fortune and Lincoln Gamble are fancied to pose the chief threats.
