Bouncing Bobby¹³

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Sean Quinlan| T: M Todhunter

100/1

Modest stayer on the Flat who has shown a bit both starts over hurdles, but will be of more interest in handicaps after this.

Form: 76

Fabuleux Du Clos³²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: J Kington| T: S G West

11/1

Just modest form at best in 4 bumpers, so will need to step up on that form if he's to play a leading role on this switch to hurdling.

Form: 3/553-

Half The Freedom³⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill

25/1

€34,000 Haafhd half-brother to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Virnon, stays 3m. In need of the experience in a Chepstow bumper on debut last month.

Form: 0

Moonlight Spirit³¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Charlotte Jones⁽⁵⁾| T: James Moffatt

11/2

Brother to useful hurdler Alqamar (2m-17f winner). Smart on Flat in 2019, stays 15f, but well below form since. Left Charlie Appleby for £75,000 in May and is an interesting recruit to hurdles.

Form:

North Parade²¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Ryan Mania| T: J Parkinson & S Smith

11/2

Fair form in bumpers but showed just poor form in a brace of hurdle starts in the spring. Off since.

Form: 53/4-6

The Big Jetaway³⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr

9/4

Went the wrong way in Irish points but has joined a good yard and showed ability first time up over hurdles when third in a 15-runner maiden here (17.2f) last month. Open to improvement. Respected.

Form: 43-PP3

Vintage Fizz^h1²⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Henry Brooke| T: Jedd O'Keeffe

11/2

Shaped better than previously after 7 months off when fourth of 14 in bumper at Ayr (16f, good to soft) 26 days ago, no extra final 1f. Makes hurdles debut in a first-time hood and not ruled out.

Form: 65-4

Getbazoutofhere^h²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: C O'Farrell| T: T R Gretton

22/1

Has shown a bit in a bumper/novice hurdle 6 months apart but looks one for later on.

Form: 45

Joanna I'm Fine²⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-5| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: Mrs J Stephen

400/1

Well beaten in a pair of Kelso bumpers and fared no better on recent Ayr hurdles bow.

Form: 099

Roxanya¹⁹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: J J Slevin| T: S R B Crawford

7/2

Looked set to surpass her bumper form sent hurdling when crashing out late on Limerick hurdle bow in April. Ran to a similar level when third there a month later, so boasts leading claims on return.

Form: 8/723F-3

Forecasts

The Big Jetaway (9/4), Roxanya (7/2), Moonlight Spirit (11/2), North Parade (11/2), Vintage Fizz (11/2), Fabuleux Du Clos (11/1), Getbazoutofhere (22/1), Half The Freedom (25/1), Bouncing Bobby (100/1), Azof Des Mottes (150/1), Joanna I'm Fine (400/1)

THE BIG JETAWAY was beaten 24½ lengths by Nurse Susan on his Carlisle hurdling debut, but there was no disgrace in that, so with improvement on the cards, he gets the nod to score at the second time of asking under Rules. Roxanya and one-time smart Flat operator Moonlight Spirit look the other key players.
