Point winner who left previous hurdling efforts behind when scoring in determined fashion at Warwick in April. May have just needed October's reappearance over fences and expected to build on that.
Enhanced his strike rate this term, winning a trio of small-field contests. 6 lb rise for latest of them makes life tough.
Fairly useful winning hurdler who showed aptitude for chasing when third on return over 2½m at Lingfield in October. Very much the type to be suited by the return to further with that under his belt.
Better than ever in the spring, gamely landing 3m handicap chase at Chepstow. Looked rusty when remote second at Exeter on return and more like it at Fontwell upped to 27.7f.
Well served by increase in trip when landing 4-runner mares' handicap at Hereford in March. Inadequate test on chase debut/reappearance and this more suitable.
Has left hurdles form behind since switched to fences, completing the hat-trick in good style at Southwell (24.3f) in July. Had a breathing op after and looked in need of the run at Cheltenham.
Runner-up in a pair of novice hurdles last season. Point winner who saw out 23f well when runner-up on chase debut at Worcester in October, seeing the trip out well.
Winning pointer who was expertly prepared to win 3 handicap hurdles in 8 days in March. Has failed to fire over fences and needs to brush up his jumping.
Clear-cut winner of back-to-back 24.3f handicap chase at Southwell in March. Came unstuck when bidding for the hat-trick there on final start last time before blotting copybook on reappearance.
Hurdles winner who has hit the crossbar on 4 of his 5 completed starts in handicap chases this season. Jumping isn't always sure-footed and that was the case at Perth.
Low-mileage 7-y-o who ran best race of last season when runner-up in mares' handicap at Chepstow (2m) in January. Should make a chaser but didn't show much on chase debut and this trip is a worry.

Forecasts
Velasco (2/1), Dhowin (9/2), Poniente (6/1), Revels Hill (7/1), Global Harmony (11/1), Debden Bank (14/1), Ebony Gale (16/1), Powerstown Park (18/1), Big Difference (20/1), Gleno (22/1), First Class Return (33/1)
VELASCO surpassed his hurdles form at the first attempt over fences when runner-up at Worcester, and with that race working out well, he looks the pick at the weights. This trip will suit Global Harmony and she's second choice, with Revels Hill another to consider.
