Native Robin^p,t⁴⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-5| J: Lorcan Williams| T: J Scott| OR: 115| D

12/1

Regained the winning thread when accounting for 4 rivals at Fontwell (21.6f) in October. Nudged up just 2 lb and should make his presence felt.

Form: 612P0-1

Johanos^p1²¹

Age: 10| Weight: 11-2| J: Kieren Buckley⁽³⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 112

10/1

Dual hurdles winner in 2017, but yet to strike following 5 attempts in this sphere and offered little back hurdling following a lengthy absence at Ffos Las. Cheekpieces applied.

Form: 4F23P/6

Grand Turina²⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 11-1| J: Ned Fox⁽¹⁰⁾| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 111

5/2

Still seeking first success over fences, but was in the process of running a big race when unseating Ned Fox 2 out on return at Wetherby (24.2f). Big player off the same mark here.

Form: 35F2P-F

Breizh Alko⁹⁹⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 10-9| J: Ben Godfrey| T: M Keighley| OR: 105

11/2

Won 4-y-o hurdle event in France in 2015 and a Haydock handicap when last seen in March 2019. Subsequent absence an obvious concern, but needs a market check on this chase debut for new yard.

Form: 2661/

Doitforthevillage^t¹³

Age: 12| Weight: 10-4| J: Sean Houlihan| T: P Henderson| OR: 100| C| D

13/2

Has been a fine servant to connections over the years, but the spark hasn't been there in 4 starts since returning from a break in October.

Form: 6-456P8

Bill And Barn²²

Age: 10| Weight: 10-2| J: Mitchell Bastyan⁽³⁾| T: M F Harris| OR: 98| D

2/1

Finally opened his account over fences at Plumpton on third start for this yard last month. Couldn't live with the winner when runner-up at Fakenham (24.2f) since, but possibilities here all the same.

Form: P4/2312

Lickpenny Larry^t¹⁹⁷

Age: 10| Weight: 10-0| J: Philip Armson⁽³⁾| T: T R Gretton| OR: 91| D

20/1

Capitalised on sliding mark when landing a desperately weak race at Leicester (2m) in March. Has found life tougher since, though, and he's 5 lb 'wrong' at the weights here.

Form: 4315-P3

Indian Brave⁶⁴⁹

Forecasts

Bill And Barn (2/1), Grand Turina (5/2), Breizh Alko (11/2), Doitforthevillage (13/2), Indian Brave (15/2), Johanos (10/1), Native Robin (12/1), Ramore Will (14/1), Lickpenny Larry (20/1)

At worst, GRAND TURINA would've finished a clear second had she not unseated Ned Fox at the second last on return at Wetherby, and she will take plenty of stopping off the same mark here granted a clear round. Bill And Barn and Fontwell winner Native Robin should both be on the premises, but if all is well following a layoff Indian Brave could emerge as the main danger.
